1. What is the Pro Paint Insider community platform?

It is an online insights platform that allows Behr Paint Company to gather feedback, innovate and conduct research amongst members of the community. As a community member you will be able to serve as “consultants” to us by sharing your perspectives and opinions – from products, services, communication and all the things in between. Join others in sharing feedback that will not only help Behr Paint Company to understand you as a professional in your field, but also influence critical business strategy decisions.

2. What is the relationship between Pro Paint Insider and icanmakeitbetter?

Behr Paint Company has partnered with the icanmakeitbetter platform to create the Pro Paint Insider Community. This community is powered by icanmakeitbetter on behalf of Behr Paint Company.

3. Who is reading and listening to this feedback?

Feedback posted on the Pro Paint Insider community goes directly to Behr Paint Company stakeholders. With the help of icanmakeitbetter, Behr Paint Company is truly listening to each and every idea, survey and focus group response!

4. Why should you participate?

Member feedback on this platform will go directly to Behr Paint Company and help affect the future of the products and services they offer. This is your chance to be heard and affect the future of the products and services available to you! As a community member you will also be able to share your perspective and opinions. Membership in the community will allow you to stay up-to-date on the latest news and trends in the industry.

PARTICIPATION

5. How do customers participate?

Qualified users simply go online to visit the Pro Paint Insider community, propaintinsider.icanmakeitbetter.com, then enter the required information under “Create an Account” to create your profile. Creating a profile is easy. Simply enter a Username, Email Address and Password and you are part of the community! NOTE: Not everyone will qualify and not everyone will be invited to all activities or areas of the community.

Once users have created an account, they may post ideas, participate in surveys and join public and private discussions/focus groups. Simply check out your “To Do” list on the community homepage to see what is available to you.

From time to time, Pro Paint Insider may invite specific users to participate in product development, innovation and research sessions based upon your community activity, survey responses and user profile information. These invites will come via email from communications@icanmakeitbetter.com and include a link directly to the specific activity. Typically, you will have about a week to participate in the activities you are invited to, though sometimes they may be available for shorter or longer periods of time.

You will not be able to see how others responded to activities. However, there will be some activities that allow members to see how others answered so stay tuned for those!

6. Are there any minimum requirements to maintain membership?

No, there are no minimum requirements and community membership is free! Please participate as much as you can. Any feedback you provide is valuable to us and the more you participate, the more opportunities you will have to learn from others and Pro Paint Insider. You will also get the chance to participate in activities where you can earn incentives!

7. How do I chat with other community members?

Stay connected with other community members by participating in the ideation sessions which are conveniently located on the community homepage. The topics of these sessions change from time to time, but by joining the current sessions you can check out what others are talking about, post your comments, ideas and even vote on what others have to say.

8. How do I post to an idea session ?

To join the conversation, simply follow these steps:

1. Enter in your idea into the idea session search field and click go. You will be shown a list of ideas that match your search terms.

2. If you want to move ahead with creating a new idea, then click Create new idea.

3. You will then be able to edit your idea name, add in an idea description, select a category (if this option is available) and insert desired tags.

4. Once your idea form has been completed, then click Create idea.

• Besides adding an idea, you can also contribute to an ideation session by commenting on, voting for or following ideas. There is no limit to the number of ideas you can vote or comment on.

• You will be alerted to any ideas that you contribute to (create, comment, vote or follow) that have any change (new comment, vote or status change) over the past week.

9. What kinds of activities should I expect?

There are a wide variety of activities you may be asked to participate in. These will be anything from surveys, quick-polls, ideation sessions, live chats, journals and other interesting activities which will gather your feedback and opinions on products, communications and services.

10. Who can see my profile information?

Only the Pro Paint Insider Community Team can view the content included in your Profile. Other community members only see your username and avatar picture.

11. Who owns the Intellectual Property?

Pro Paint Insider owns the right to the intellectual property. icanmakeitbetter assigns all IP to Pro Paint Insider, the “business user.” Everyone who joins the community must agree to the community Terms & Conditions with a manual opt-in. INCENTIVES & SUPPORT

12. How can I get incentives?

This community often offers incentives for private surveys and focus groups. In exchange for your participation in activities, we may offer you reward points as a token of our appreciation. Points accumulated can be redeemed for gift cards at various retailers. 100 points are equal to $1 USD. The amount of points offered may vary according to the activity length and complexity. If an incentive is offered for a given survey or focus group, the amount and method of distribution will be clearly stated in the invite email, or at the start of the survey. If no incentive is mentioned, then none is offered.

All community incentives will be paid out through Tango Rewards, which will allow you to redeem e-gift cards from some of your favorite retailers. Your reward balance will be available to view anytime by clicking on "My Rewards" on the community homepage. When you are ready to redeem your rewards, simply click on the type of e-gift card you would like and enter the amount of your current point balance you would like to redeem.

PLEASE NOTE: Incentives are distributed manually, after reviewing the quality and validity of responses. This means that incentives are typically sent within two weeks of the day the survey/focus group closes (not from the day you completed the activity). Incentives are NOT sent at the moment of survey completion. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Official Rules for Recurring Community Rewards Sweepstakes (The Pro Paint Insider Community)

DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES.

These sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) are conducted by icanmakeitbetter and take the form of periodic drawings for certain prizes at various points during the duration of this market research insights community (the “Community”), which will begin on January 1st, 2024 and is scheduled to end on December 31st, 2024 at 11:59pm EST. Icanmakeitbetter may elect to discontinue the Sweepstakes at the end of any day during the existence of the Community.

ELIGIBILITY.

The Sweepstakes are open only to Community participants who are legal residents of the United States and who are eighteen (18) years as of the date of entry, and who are not employees of icanmakeitbetter or its affiliates (the “Entrant”). The Sweepstakes are void outside of the United States and where prohibited, taxed, restricted, or otherwise conditioned by law. Sweepstakes may only be entered in from the United States, and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. The Sweepstakes are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By entering the Sweepstakes as described below, Entrant represents and warrants that he or she meets the above criteria and also agrees to accept and be bound by all terms of these official rules (“Official Rules”).

 HOW TO ENTER.

There is no purchase necessary to participate in the Sweepstakes. A Community participant can enter the Sweepstakes in one of the two ways described below.

AUTOMATIC ENTRY THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN A COMMUNITY MISSION: From time to time, the entire Community will be presented with an opportunity to participate in a defined activity which is associated with a prize drawing (each such activity, a “Mission”). A Mission may be announced through postings on the Community Website, as indicated by the title of the applicable tile on the Community website; Community participants may also be notified of Missions through email. Each time a Community participant participates in a Mission, he or she will be entered into the prize draw for that Mission and will have a chance to win a prize. No other action is required by a Community participant to enter for a chance at the prize draw conducted as to a particular Mission.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY - WRITE-IN: As an alternative to participating in a Mission on the Community website, Community participants may enter the drawing for a Mission by submitting a postcard to icanmakeitbetter, Attn: The Pro Paint Insider Community Rewards Sweepstakes, 1900 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, California 90067, United States, which includes (i) the participant’s Community username, and (ii) the name of the Mission to which the entry relates. All write-in entries must be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the date of the Sweepstakes drawing and received at least three (3) business days before the close of the Sweepstakes drawing. Each postcard is considered one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, and there is a limit of one (1) write-in entry per postcard.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per Community participant per Mission. Multiple entries submitted or completed by an Entrant (including, for example, in cases where the Entrant executed the Mission on the Community website and also submitted a postcard for the same Mission) are void. Write-in entries must contain both pieces of information outlined above; otherwise, they are void and will not be included in the drawing and will not be eligible to win.

DRAWING/ODDS.

When a Mission is announced, icanmakeitbetter will indicate when the prize drawing relating to that Mission will take place. Icanmakeitbetter will conduct a randomized drawing on the day noted, and winners will be selected at random from among that Mission’s eligible entries. Completion and eligibility are determined solely by icanmakeitbetter. Odds of winning for any given Sweepstakes prize drawing depend on the number and amounts of prizes offered as to the Mission and the number of eligible entries received for that Mission. The decisions icanmakeitbetter will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

PRIZES.

As to each Mission, the number and amount of Sweepstakes prizes will be identified through a posting on the Community website; icanmakeitbetter may also notify Community participant in other ways, such as through email. The prizes for the Sweepstakes will vary by Sweepstakes, but will always be issued in the form of an electronic “Tango Card,” which will be fulfilled by icanmakeitbetter by way of an e-mail from support@tangocard.com. Please visit https://propaintinsider.icanmakeitbetter.com/ and go to My Rewards in your Profile to see all the Tango Card options you can choose from. Federal, state, local and any other applicable taxes in connection with these prizes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Prizes are nontransferable and no substitutions are allowed.

Winners will be notified as described below and a list of winners will be posted to the Community website, but you can also obtain a list of winners for the Sweepstakes by sending a request (identifying the community and date of the Sweepstakes) along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to icanmakeitbetter, 1900 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, California 90067, United States.

PRIVACY.

Personal information collected by icanmakeitbetter, or its affiliates, subsidiaries or subcontractors, will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes and awarding of a Prize. In addition, by entering, entrants and/or winner agree to icanmakeitbetter’s use of entrant's/winner's personal information as described in its Privacy Policy at https://app.icanmakeitbetter.com/privacy-policy. Please refer to the privacy policy for important information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by icanmakeitbetter. If you have further questions regarding your personal data, you can email legal@lrwonline.com. Please include your name, username (if applicable), and the community you are inquiring about.

NOTIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS.

All winners will be notified of their winnings by email within 1-2 weeks after the drawing is completed with information how to redeem their Tango Card. Inability of icanmakeitbetter to contact winners by means specified herein will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner by random selection.

Any prizewinner may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility or evidence of eligibility, a Liability Release, or tax documentation to icanmakeitbetter. Such materials, if requested, must be received within two weeks of initial request or the prizewinner will forfeit his or her winnings and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. In the event that icanmakeitbetter needs additional contact information or documentation, the winner will be notified by email.

The value associated with the Sweepstakes prize is taxable as income and the prize winner(s) are solely responsible for any taxes, including, but not limited to all applicable federal, state and local taxes that become due with respect to the value of the prize.

NO LIABILITY.

By participating, Entrants and prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless icanmakeitbetter, its affiliates, subsidiaries, clients, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by any Entrant, prize winner, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity or participation in these Sweepstakes. Further, by accepting the prize, the winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning said prize, any and all costs of redemption or travel to redeem said prize and any and all liability that might arise from redeeming or seeking said prize. Icanmakeitbetter is not responsible for technical or computer errors (including as to the Community website) which may prevent, or not accurately track, Mission participation, or for late, lost, ineligible, damaged, postage-due, misdirected, misidentified entries.

CONDUCT.

Icanmakeitbetter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any Community or icanmakeitbetter website; (b) violating these Official Rules; (c) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of the Community website or any icanmakeitbetter property or service; or (d) acting in an abusive or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

Icanmakeitbetter reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes if it determines that fraud, technical failures or any other factors beyond the reasonable control of icanmakeitbetter may impair the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of icanmakeitbetter, which are final and binding in all respects.

These Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. All entrants agree that any action concerning these Sweepstakes must be brought in the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and by participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants irrevocably consent to this jurisdiction.
